Abstract

COVID-19 provided an exceptional opportunity to empower consumers through the use of information and communication technologies. Utilizing the rapid advances in digital tools and systems and their availability, this chapter showcases examples of leveraging citizen science approaches powered by digital tools and systems for more resilient and sustainable healthcare systems.
