Abstract English
This study explores the efficacy of the disciplinary policy in order to improve and motivate the efficiency of human resources .
To my knowledge , it is the first study of its kind for the cooperative sector in Kuwait.
The results reveal that there is a negative gap between the disciplinary policy and the motivation of the efficiency of human employees in the cooperative society sector in the state of Kuwait .
The survey generally shows that most employees and managers think the idea of a disciplinary system is important.
They feel that the disciplinary system should as a tool to help the staff in avoiding any mistakes that may happen in the future. It is also to or punish the person who caused the fault or the disturber.
Although the necessity of disciplinary policy was widely accepted among both employees and managers, the results indicated that the employees are not satisfied with the current disciplinary system as it is operated in the cooperative sector in Kuwait.
The survey study also showed that the disciplinary system has a negligible effect in improving employees job performance.
The researcher offers the possible implications with regard to the efficacy of the disciplinary system in order to improve the efficiency of human resources in the cooperative sector .
