Clinical Versus Laboratory Evaluation of Two Ion Leachable Aesthetic Restorations

الاهتمام بمواد الحشو التي تفرز أيونات مثل الفلورايد وأيونات أخرى مماثلة. ومن أهم الأسباب لتغيير الحشوات إعادة تسوس الأسنان بالرغم من حشوها بحشوات دائمة. والهدف من المشروع هو دراسة اثنتين من تلك المواد الجديدة المفرزة للأيونات وذلك للحفاظ على كتلة السن وعدم القطع الزائد لملائمة خواص حشو الأسنان في مواد الحشوات السابقة. وسيتم دراسة تأثير الأيونات المفرزة على خواص مواد الحشو وعلى لعاب المريض، مقارنة تأثير عامل الوقت على فترات مختلفة، بالاضافة الى إيجاد علاقة بين التقييم المعملي والإكلينيكي في اتجاه مواز.

As the use of adhesive restorative materials has increased during the last several years, interest in adhesive materials that release fluorides and other ions has also grown. The project aims at detecting leached ions from the restorative materials, saliva of patients and study hardness and strength properties of the restorative materials. The clinical and laboratory materials will be correlated.
