Comparing of International and Middle East Case Studies of Technology Incubators

خلقت ثورة المعلومات والتكنولوجيات فرصا هائلة للشركات القائمة على المعرفة وتم تصميم الحضانة التكنولوجية المحلية لتعزيز القدرة على الابتكار وتطوير التكنولوجيا فالحاضنات التكنولوجية هي نوع معين من حاضنة الأعمال التجارية وتعتبر مشروع قائم على الملكية التي تقدم الخدمات الملموسة وغير الملموسة للشركات الجديدة القائمة على التكنولوجيا وأصحاب المشاريع والجامعات والشركات الكبرى، وتنتمي الغالبية العظمى من حاضنات التكنولوجيا مع المصادر العامة والخاصة من المعرفة البحثية مثل الجامعات والمجمعات العلمية والتكنولوجية أو مجموعات من الشركات مع بحث وتطوير القدرة على الدعم لرجال الأعمال. والحاضنات التكنولوجية تخدم بصورة عامة الحكومة على الصعيدين المحلي والإقليمي وتهدف هذه الورقة إلى التحقيق ومناقشة المزايا والعيوب التي تسهل التنفيذ الناجح للحاضنات التكنولوجية، وطبيعة هذا البحث نوعي في المقام الأول ويستخدم دراسات الحالة الدولية مثل الولايات المتحدة، والمملكة المتحدة، وألمانيا، وفرنسا للاستفادة من تجاربهم السابقة، وتم جمع البيانات بشكل رئيسي من خلال إجراء مقابلات شبه منظمة ووثائق تنظيمية لدراسة كل حالة على حده.

Since the last decades, the revolution in information technologies have created enormous opportunities for knowledge-based business. Also, technologically based incubation is designed to enhance local innovation capacity and technology development. Technology incubators are a specific type of business incubator – a property-based venture which provides tangible and intangible services to new technology-based firms, entrepreneurs, universities and large firms. The large majority of technology incubators are affiliated with public and private sources of research knowledge, such as universities, science and technology parks, or clusters of firms with R&D capacity. Public support for business and technology incubators is generally provided at the local and regional levels of government. The aim of this paper is to investigate and discuss the incubators road map model that facilitate the successful implementation of technology incubators worldwide and GCC member states. The nature of this research is mainly qualitative. This investigation uses international case studies such as Unites States, Germany, France and Middle East. The data was mainly collected by means of semi-structured interviews and organizational documents from each case study
