التقليدي والتعليم عن بعد في كلية الطب في جامعة الكويت. سنقوم كذاك بدراسة طرق تدريس مختلفة وتحويلھا إلى

E-learning is increasingly being used medical schools as an alternative to many face-to-face teaching and evaluation activities. The feasibility, effectiveness and best practices of e-learning activities are all under active study. In this series of studies, we will look at both quantitative and qualitative evidence of the effectiveness of e-learning for undergraduate medical education, differences in learner experiences, and the relative effectiveness of different modalities of online education. The main study is a randomized controlled trial comparing online to face-to-face learning to a group of medical students at the Faculty of Medicine in Kuwait. We will also assess the feasibility of moving a number of teaching activities to an online format including multiple-choice question exams, problem-based learning cases, and virtual patient encounters. This series of studies will help us make informed decisions about the incorporation of e-learning in the medical school curriculum and develop capacity for further development of content and future research.
