Travel for Tourism : A seasonal Immigration Outside the State of Kuwait - Its Causes & affecting Factors - An Analytical & Critical Study in the Geography of Tourism

يهدف البحث الى دراسة ظاهرة السفر بصورة علمية، وذلك من خلال التعرف على دوافعها والعوامل المؤثرة فيها، سواء تلك العوامل الضاغطة في دولة الكويت أو العوامل الجاذبة في الخارج، بالاضافة الى التعرف على انماط التوزيع الجغرافي للدول التي يفضل الكويتيون زيارتها. وسيتم تطبيق الاسلوب الميداني في منهاج البحث من خلال اجراء استبانات لعينة البحث تتكون من (1000) فرد من مختلف محافظات دولة الكويت الست بدرجات تعليم متفاوته ووظائف مختلفة لتحليلها احصائيا.

This study analyses foreign travel trends among Kuwaiti community, especially in summer, starting from the geographical factors affecting the phenomenon (physical and human factors). The study identifies the pressurizing factors leading to this activity inside Kuwait and the tourist attractive elements outside the country. The research work also will detect the patterns of Kuwaiti tourists. There is an increasing rate of passenger movement outside the country for the sake of tourism. The framework of the study is theoretical related to the objectives, hypotheses, approach, tourism definition and geographical factors affecting the phenomenon. Finally, the field work study surveying the Kuwaiti community’s trends (through a sampling method) towards several issues of the summer seasonal immigration movement for tourism. The descriptive, analytical and critical approach of the study is expected to produce important results and recommendations related to travel and tourism.
