Tilapia Mariculture in Kuwait: Technology, Refinement and Feasibility Study

يهدف المشروع الي ايجاد أفضل تقنية لانتاج سمك البلطي من نوع (Oreochromis spilurus) في الاقفاص البحرية بالاضافة الي دراسة الجدوى من استزراع سمك البلطي مع سمك السبيطي في مزارع باستخدام الاقفاص البحرية وستجرى تجارب لتحديد أفضل الكثافات لاستزراع البلطى وأفضل عمق ، وكذلك لدراسة تأثير الضوء والحرارة على أمكانية تبيض سمكة البلطى على مدار السنه بالاضافة الى تطوير الاسس التي من خلالها يمكن ابقاء سمكة البلطي في أحواض وتحت كثافات عالية خلال فصل الشتاء. ان المعلومات التي سوف للشخص

The project aims to optimize production technology (Oreochromis spilurus) In marine cages and to carry out for tilapia a detailed feasibility study for the marine culture of tilapia in association with a sobalty marine cage farm. Tests will be conducted to determine optimum stocking densitles and net depth in cages, the effect of Ilght and temperature on year-round breeding of tilapia and to develop guidelines for high density overwintering of tilapia in tanks. Information derived from these tests will provide the basis for the economic feasibility study. The project has a duration of 24 months, with a total budget of KD 100,000 and will be Salmiya.
