His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's Vision of Reforms and Development in the State of Kuwait: An Analytical Perspective of his Speeches

تناولت هذه الدراسة الإصلاح والتنمية في الخطاب السياسي الكويتي ممثلاً بفكر الأمير الشيخ صباح الأحمد الجابر الصباح. استخدمت الدراسة طريقة تحليل حقول دلالة المفاهيم، حيث تم تحديد مفردة "التنمية" ومفردة "الإصلاح" كمفهومين مركزيين، مع بناء الحقل الدلالي الذي يتفق مع هدف البحث في التعرف على مواصفات التنمية وما تعنيه للوطن والمواطن، وكذلك رصد وتحليل مدعمات سياسة التنمية والإصلاح والقوى المحورية الفاعلة في تلك السياسة وما يواجهها من مناقضات وتحديات.

This study focuses on the Amir’s vision of reform and development, as reflected in his speeches to the nation. The study adopted the concept significance fields analysis method, where the terms “development” and “reform” are used as two central concepts while building up the significant fields that represent the theory of development and its significance to the State and its citizens. The study also involved investigating and analyzing the major aspects of development and reform policy. It also studied the key elements of such a policy as well as the conflicts and challenges that that accompany them.
