Influence of Classic/Arabic Music on the Effectiveness of Learning/Training

ضمن منهجية التعليم المعجل Accelerated Learning للبلغاري جورجي لازانوف (1978) واستخدام الموسيقى لأهداف متعددة، اتفقت الدراسات والبحوث الحديثة في مجال تأثير الموسيقى في التعليم والتدريب على التفرقة بين مجالات استخدام الموسيقى في التعليم والتدريب (التعليم، التعلم، التركيز، التفكير، الاسترخاء، إزالة التوتر، الإثارة وحفز الدافعية). تهتم هذه الدراسة بتجربة دمج الموسيقى العربية مع الموسيقى الكلاسيكية لاستعمالها أداة تدريبية وتعليمية من أجل تعزيز القدرة على اكتساب المعرفة وتحصيل المعلومات، وتعزيز الانتباه، وتعديل الاتجاهات، وتحسين المناخ العام للبيئة التعليمية. بالإضافة إلى إتاحة الفرصة للتعبير الشخصي- من خلال عدد من التجارب المقننة لمجموعات من المتدربين والمتعلمين- كدراسة لحالات نموذجية تتوفر بها كل الضوابط والشروط اللازمة للتحكم في متغيرات البحث، باستخدام مجموعات تجريبية ومجموعات ضابطة، وبمقارنة الاختبارات القبلية والبعدية، مع وبدون استخدام الموسيقى أداةً تدريبية وتعليمية مساندة.

Within the Accelerated Learning methodology devised by Bulgarian Physician Georgi Lazonov (Lazanov, 1978) music is used for multiple purposes: to set an effective learning environment, promote bonding, support learning theme, memorize facts, acquire knowledge and gain abstract, metaphoric understanding of concepts. Groups of researchers emphasize that the learners must be familiar with the music used in training, particularly when words accompany the instrumental music. Therefore, the proposed study is designed to integrate the Arabic music with Classics, and use it as training and learning tool, aiming at improving learning and acquisition of information, enhancing attention, attitude, and creating better learning atmosphere, as well as facilitating personal expression. Investigations will be carried out in experimentally controlled conditions for groups of trainees and students as models for case studies fulfilling all the requisites for controlling the variables that may affect research results. Experimental groups and control groups will be compared, in addition to comparison of pre-testing and post-testing in experimental settings, with and without the use of background music to validate the value of Arabic/classic music in training/learning
