Assessment of Change Practices in SME's Funded by the Government in Kuwait

"المشروعات الصغيرة والمتوسطة تشكل أهمية في تشكيل الاقتصاد للدول الأوروبية والعربية بشكل عام. بالنظر إلى الدراسات السابقة في هذا المجال نجد أنه محل اهتمام الباحثين، ولقد أولت الكويت هذا القطاع أهمية كبيرة حيث أنشأت شركة المشروعات الصغيرة لدعم هذه الشركات مالياً وإدارياً.
بناءً على ما سبق فإن دراسة وتقييم إدارة التغيير وتحدياتها يزيد الوعي بأهميته التغيير والطرق المثلى للاستعداد والتخطيط له من قبل المشروعات الصغيرة والمتوسطة لمواكبة تغيرات سوق العمل مما يتيح فرصة أكبر لاستمراريتها ونجاحها، ومن جهة أخرى فإن مخرجات البحث تدعم متخذ القرار عن طريق تحليل ودراسة الوضع الحالي وتقديم مقترحات عملية لتطوير عملية الدعم لهذا القطاع. "

"It is clear that the SME’s success and failure has received considerable attention by scholars. Yet few researches studied the SME’s funded by the government in Kuwait. This study is designed to bridge this gap
and to contribute to the literature by developing a framework to assess and classify change processes within
SME’s in Kuwait. Then a report will be produced recommending best practice, and to develop a framework
to assess and classify change within SME’s funded by the government in Kuwait. SME’s will benefit from
the outcomes to enable them to adapt successfully to external change. Also, this research will provide SME
sector with a written reference illustrating the current situation and an advisory platform for going forward."
