Implementing Currently Applied eLearning Methods for Higher Education Institutions in the State of Kuwait: Opportunities and Challenges

تحديد عوامل النجاح المحورية لتطبيق وتقييم طرق التعليم عبر الإنترنت في كليات وجامعات دولة الكويت. أيضًا ، من المهم العثور عى أفضل
مزيج ممكن من تقنيات التعلم عبر الإنترنت التي تلبي متطلبات المجتمع المحلي. لذلك ، سيتم مقارنة مناهج التدريس الجديدة وفعاليتها
لمعرفة أي منها أفضل فعالية و أنسبها للإسخدام في دولة الكويت. في هذه الدراسة ، سيتم إجراء تقييم شامل عى أنظمة ومنصات إدارة التعلم
المتاحة حاليًا من خ ال النظر في قدراتها و حدود فعاليتها. هذا التقييم سينظر في عوامل مهمة مثل مرونة الإستخدام من قبل أعضاء هيئة
التدريس وسهولة الإستخدام من قبل الط اب. لتحقيق هدف هذه الدراسة ، سيتم إجراء استطلاعات مفصلة لعينات تمثل جميع الأطراف
المعنية في التعليم عبر الإنترنت. وهذا يشمل ، عى سبيل المثال لا الحصر ، الط اب )من مختلف المستويات والتخصصات( ، وأعضاء هيئة
التدريس ، وأعضاء الإدارة العليا بالجامعة ، والهيئات التنظيمية )مثل مجلس الجامعات الخاصة و / أو وزارة التعليم العالي( ، يتبعهم تحليل
إحصائي مفصل و تفسير دقيق للإجابات. لذلك ، من المتوقع أن يسد هذا المشروع البحثي فجوة في الأدب المتوفر حاليا ويقدم فهمًا للعوامل
التي لها تأثير إيجابيفي نجاح تجربة التعلم عبر الإنترنت في دولة الكويت."

"After SARS-CoV-2 virus outbreak, a good number of institutions around the world shifted to online education. The aim of this
study is to determine the critical success factors for applying and evaluating online delivery methods in colleges and universities
of the State of Kuwait. Also, it is important to find the best possible combination of online learning techniques that addresses
the requirements of the local population. Therefore, novel teaching methodologies and their effectiveness will be compared
and contrasted to see which combinations of them would be best employed in Kuwait. In this study, an extensive evaluation
will be performed on currently-available learning management systems and platforms, by considering their capabilities and
limitations. Important factors such as flexibility for faculty members and being easy to use by students will be considered for
this evaluation. To achieve the goal of this study, customized surveys will be conducted with a representative sample of all
stakeholders. This includes, but is not limited to, students (from a variety of levels and majors), faculty members, university
senior management members, and regulatory bodies (such as the Private Universities Council and/or the Ministry of Higher
Education), following by a detailed statistical analysis of the closed-ended responses and a thorough interpretation of openended
responses. Therefore, it is anticipated that this research project will fill the gap of the existing literature and provide an
understanding of which factors have influence on a potentially successful online learning experience in the State of Kuwait."
