يهدف البحث الى الربط بين الطحالب البحرية البيكوفيتوبلانكتون (Picophycoplankton) ومصير النفط الخام المنسكب في مياه الخليج العربي. سيتم خلال البحث معرفة مدى تأثير النفط الخام على فسيولوجية عينة مختارة من طحالب سينيكوكس (Synechococcus).
Abstract English
The research aims at covering the Gulf picophycoplankton and understanding the fate of crude oil in the marine ecosystem. The effects of crude oil, individual n-alkaline and aromatic hydrocarbons on the growth, pigments, photo-synthesis, lipids and fatty acids of representative Synechoco-ccus strains will be investigated.
