Implementation of the Initial Planning and Mobilization Stage for the Establishment of the Kuwait National Center for Health and Environment/National Health Data Repository

الهدف من هذا المشروع هو وضع حجر الأساس الأكاديمي والمؤسسي لإنشاء مركز الكويت الوطني للصحة والبيئة. المهمة المقترحة للمركز هي لتحسين فهم المحددات الرئيسية للصحة العامة، ولإلقاء الضوء على دور البيئة على الصحة، وتقييم فعالية وتكاليف وفوائد تداخلات الصحة العامة الواعدة، وإعلام العامة ومتخذي القرار بالفرص المتاحة لتحسين الصحة العامة مع التركيز على دولة الكويت ومنطقة الخليج العربي

The goal of this project is to lay the academic and institutional foundation for the creation of the Kuwait National Center for Health and Environment. The proposed mission of the Center is to better understand the major determinants of public health; to elucidate the role of environment on health; to evaluate the efficacy, costs and benefits of promising public health interventions; and to inform the public and decision-makers about opportunities to improve public health with a focus on Kuwait and the Gulf Region.
