The Annual Earthquake Bulletin 2024 lists the earthquakes recorded in Kuwait, adjacent areas, and the world throughout the year. This publication is one of the products of the Kuwait National Seismic Network (KNSN) and Environment & Life Sciences Research Center (ELSRC), from within Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR).
Instrumental recording of earthquakes started in Kuwait in 1997. The Government of Kuwait financed the KNSN with the objectives of recording local, regional, and tele-seismic events as well as assessing the hazard those seismic events pose to the country.
