      Description

Features: • Spectrometer for transient absorption, laser-induced fluorescence, Raman and laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS). • Monochromator: Czerny-Turner with triple grating turret. • 300 mm focal length, 5.0 μm to 10 mm computer-controlled motorised slits. • Laser excitation source: Flash-lamp pumped Q-switched Nd:Yag laser. • Operating at 1064, 532, 355 or 266 nm; tunable in the range 410 - 710 nm (signal). • Transients can be measured up to 2.55 μm. • Integrated ICCD allows transient spectra to be measured within one laser flash. Applications: • Nanoscale materials such as quantum dots, carbon nanotubes, nanoparticles and nanostructures can be characterized. • Studies on photo physics of organic complexes, proteins, ligands, dendrimers and rare earth complexes. • For water quality analysis of fresh, marine and post-treatment wastewater. • Research in drug developments. • Useful to monitor biological processes such as photosynthesis and molecular dynamics. • Analysis of organometallic compounds.
