      Equipments Details

      Description

It is a device for measuring friction loss in a horizontal pipe and studying the flow patterns of different fluids. It consists of a glass tube with a bell mouth entrance connected to a water tank and a valve at the other end to vary the flow rate. The apparatus can be used to find the critical Reynolds number and demonstrate the flow transition point from laminar to turbulent flow. it is used for Fluid Mechanics experiments.
