Concept Development Study for the Establishment of Kuwait University Research Park

The main objective of this project is to conduct a concept development study for establishing the Kuwait University Research Park (KURP) at the new Sabah Al-Salem Campus. The proposed research park is expected to be a regionally and internationally recognized research, innovation and intellectual resource hub. It will develop university entrepreneurial culture, foster economic development and technology transfer, develop, disperse and encourage innovations, build partnerships with private companies, research institutes and government entities and attract compatible research and business enterprises. The project output will consist of a comprehensive report, outlining the feasibility, concept and functionality of the proposed KURP at the new Sabah Al-Salem campus. The final report will also include the vision, mission and objectives of KURP and present a market analysis and a concept and model for KURP, while covering issues, such as, the feasibility of the project, the key success factors, implementation plan and recommendations.
