Replacement of the Old General Facility Equipment to Serve Research in Spectroscopy and Sorptometry

"طلب استبدال شراء جهاز (ICP-OES Optical Emission Spectrometer) بجهاز (Differential Scanning Calorimeter-DSC).
كما سيتم ما يلي:
1. تقديم قائمة مفصلة بالكيماويات والمستهلكات المطلوبة وتكلفتها إلى لجنة المكتب التنفيذي بإدارة الأبحاث.
2. يجب أن تستعمل الأجهزة لغرض الأبحاث ويجب الحصول على الموافقة المستبقة من إدارة الأبحاث لاستعمالها لغرض الاستشارات وذلك من خلال وحدة الخدمات البحثية بإدارة الأبحاث."

"This project envisages replacement of the following old equipment in General Facility:
1. Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer
2. UV-Vis -NIR Spectrophotometer
3. ICP- Atomic Emission Spectrophotometer
4. Ion chromatograph
Most of these instruments were purchased in 1991/1992 and some of them in 1993 period. These
instruments have been rendered obsolete by the manufacturers and spares and service support
are no more available. These instruments need to be replaced on priority, since many ongoing
projects and graduate students rely on measurements using these important instruments."
