Impact of Jet

Impact of jet apparatus is a laboratory equipment used to demonstrate the way in which fluid force is being used to generate a force that can turn a turbine. It consists of a transparent cylinder containing a vertically tapered nozzle and a test plate. The nozzle produces a high-velocity jet of water which hits the test plate. It is used for Fluid Mechanics experiments.
